Studio

Caisson Studio designs and builds websites from scratch, with the same methods as the Caisson projects. A site can be a calm set of pages or a scroll story that assembles a scene as the reader moves.

This site is the first sample. Every part behind the text is drawn live in the browser, the text is plain HTML that reads with scripts off, and nothing on it sets a cookie.

• Real-time 3DA WebGL scene that changes shape as the page scrolls. This site moves 30,000 parts between shapes, and the Cohentra site is a lattice of cubes written in raw WebGL2.
• Pages that read without scriptsEvery page here is complete HTML. Scripts add the scene and the smooth navigation afterwards, so a crawler or a slow connection still gets the content.
• A first preview in under a weekA first preview of the site is ready in under one week from when Caisson hears from the client.
• Measured performanceFrame time is profiled on a real GPU. The Cohentra renderer steps its own quality down when frames run slow, and its scroll story went from 53.7 fps on average, with dips to 12, to 105.
• Search metadataTitles, canonical addresses, structured data, a sitemap and an llms.txt file are generated with the pages.
• Hosting on CloudflareCaissonai.co runs on Cloudflare Pages and Cohentra runs as a Cloudflare Worker with static assets, each on its own domain.
• PrivacyThis site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no forms.

Cohentra is an independent software studio in Cyprus. Caisson designed and built its site: a scroll story where a lattice of cubes becomes a new form for each product.
